MEET RASHIDA
Hi! I’m Rashida, a student from New Jersey with a lifelong fascination for science and its countless applications in the world around us. Since the age of eight, I have been drawn to the way science explains everyday phenomena, answers seemingly simple questions, and reveals the extraordinary behind the ordinary.
As I grew older and developed my understanding of biology, chemistry, and physics, I began making connections between what I learned in the classroom and the world beyond it. I became especially interested in the intersection of science and medicine, where scientific discoveries translate into real-world advancements that shape and improve human lives.
Beyond the classroom, I am someone who is naturally curious and constantly asking questions. I enjoy exploring unfamiliar topics, uncovering the reasoning behind everyday occurrences, and learning about the discoveries that continue to reshape our understanding of the world. I believe that some of the most meaningful learning begins with a simple question and that science becomes all the more fascinating when we understand not only what happens, but why.
My interest in science has also shaped my aspirations for the future. I hope to continue exploring biology, chemistry, medicine, and scientific research while discovering new ways to share my curiosity with others. To me, learning is not simply about memorizing facts or finding the right answers; it is about making connections, challenging assumptions, and remaining open to new perspectives. Above all, I hope to carry this curiosity with me wherever my interests take me, continuing to ask questions, seek answers, and appreciate the remarkable science woven into our everyday lives.
